Hobby Shops in Munich?

Post by av8rmongo »

Ben - or anyone else out there who might know - are there any good hobby shops in the Munich area? I may be in Germany next month and was curious if there was anything worth including in my trip plan. Ben, I know you're in Northern Germany but thought I would ask anyway.

Hi Paul,

sorry mate I have absolutely no idea when it comes to hobby shops that far south :? ...
Furthermore I am on holiday until end of September and cannot look down my modelling magazines. For how long will you stay? Maybe you are lucky and can visit an Open Day of the Bundeswehr.?
BTW did you see Pit's Patriot Launcher and the Patriot Missile Transporter (both GE Air Force) in the scratch section? They look very good and for sure would be a nice addition for your modern German forces!

Best greetings from sunny Israel,
Ben

Ben,

Thank you anyway. I may be there a week or so but that hasn't been decided yet. Is there a calendar for Bundeswehr Open Days - that might sway my planning.

Paul

P.S. Enjoy Israel

Hi Paul,

I know there is a calendar of such days at www.panzerbaer.de, you have to look under "Erfahrungsaustausch" there. It is a forum but visitors should be able to watch the posted stuff, the calendar is located straight at the beginning (if I remember right).

Israel is very nice and hot - already have been to the Armour museum at Latrun...

Cheers Ben
