I've always wanted to use these beautiful figures but have been hesitant in the past for various reasons. However I recently purchased some well painted French and British units. Any ideas on how to use them?
I thought about using them for brigade scale games such as Age of Eagles but seeing them in mass made me think they would look great at 1:10 or even 1:5. Even though the 1815 line isn't complete recreating Waterloo at either of these scales would look incredible. Any ideas as to the best batalion level rules that would work the best. I have my 18mm based for GdB. I was even thinking about using a computer moderated set of rules.
What kind of ground scale could I expect at either 1:10 or 1:5? Thanks for any input

Try Chef de Bataillon, Emperor's Press - it is a 1-to-5 scale game, you can easily field and manage a force ranging from a brigade to a division (especially w/10mm minis) Don't recall the groundscale off hand, I don't have the rules in front of me (at work.)
