Does anyone out there know anything about the Cuban forces at the time of the failed Bay of Pigs invasion? Specifically what I'm looking for is the Naval forces - what ships at what ports, and the Air Forces - what planes at what bases. I have some info but would like corroborating data if at all possible.
In a related topic I'm also looking for information on the participation of Canadian forces in the Cuban Missile Crisis Quarantine. I know HMCS Bonaventure was involved but i don't really have much detail. If anyone out there has the book about her, I believe its title is The Bonnie: HMCS Bonaventure I would greatly appreciate it if you could skim through it for any relevent facts. I've seen it listed on Amazon for about $150 which is a little steep for just a passing fancy. Thanks.
Paul
