A Christmas tip...

Post by tstockton »

I just wanted to pass this along... maybe some of you can get as much good out of it as I have!

This "tip" only works for those who own a pet. I have a dog (yellow Labrador) who "fits the bill" quite nicely.

(1) Buy yourself a Christmas present!! :D

(2) Wrap it up and place a name tag on it. In the "To:" section, write your name.

(3) In the "From:" section, write your pet's name.

(4) Place present under the tree when no one is looking...

Skip forward to Christmas Day...

(5) Act surprised when you find your gift from the family pet. Open it gleefully, then exclaim something like "What a smart dog! Good Boy!!"

(6) (optional) Wink at your spouse / significant other, showing just how clever you are...

Maybe my wife is more tolerant... but this "trick" has worked for me for three Christmases in a row! Of course, it doesn't hurt to have given that significant other a good present, such as jewelry... gotta spread the wealth!

Merry Christmas!!

Regards,
Tom Stockton
