Personally I'd rather see it where they can't even post it to begin with.

Ignoring or deleting it doesn't solve the problem.

There's no need for them to be able to get away with it.

Cama, the best way is to turn on email activation. Spammers almost never have legit addresses. I run several phpBBs. I've been dealing with it for 3 years now(just the spam part) and have been running the boards for 7. You will get alot of false registrations that never get activated. But those can be cleaned out at leisure. But it's still better than having kids reading the board and seeing the wonderfullspam.

It needs to NEVER be on the board, it makes the company look VERY bad when there is ** CENSORED ** spam posted.

That's the thing. We've been told how many times it's being worked on? There is one radio button in the control panel that will keep 99% of the spam posted off the forum. Change it to user activation. It got rid of 95% of my spam problems.

The other mod is to not allow a homepage on registration. If there is one it flags it as a spam account and disallows it. You can add a homepage after registration no problem.
