I was wondering what you fine folks use for modern snipers. I was thinking of using the modern US heavy weapon figure in the prone position and hacking at his MG to create something that looks more like a bolt action.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Sniper figures
The early war German AT weapons pack (G 515) has figures with an anti tank rifle. Trim off the gas mask carrier on the belt and they look close to a modern U.S trooper. It helps if I take my glasses off (grin). Another alternative is one of 'the other guys' make German and Soviet AT rifles as part of their World War Two range.
