I found an easy to do conversion that will add more firepower to my Commonwealth desert recon - add the French 25mm ATG (FR13) to a Marmon -Herrington MkII (UK31). Just remove the turret, drill it out to enlarge the hole, and glue the ATG on top.
There is a great picture of a Marmon Herrington MkIII mounting one on page 93 of David Fletchers "Tanks in Camera" book. "British Armored Cars" by B.T. White says they put the 25mm on the Mark IIs as well. However I have yet to find a picture. Does anybody have a picture of a Mark II with the 25mm mounted on it? Want to get it as close as possible....
