Any thoughts on the creation of a 10mm Ancients line for GHQ. We have Civil War, and Napoleonics.
Also 10mm World War 2 would be neat.
What does the GHQ community think?

I'd very much like to see GHQ expand their 10mm line with ancients. I'm very impressed with the quality of the sculpting on the napoleonics. In fact the only thing that I don't like about them is that they are well,um....napoleonics. Not much interested in the black powder era. But if GHQ could put that kind of detail into ancients, say dark ages (normans, saxons, vikings), I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I too have longed to paint 10mm and larger figures from GHQ as I find that the 1/285th scale can 'blend in' at table viewing range. 1/285th Vehicles don't have this problem as much but its still there. This is the single greatest reason that I would ever cross over to Napoleonic/Civil War gaming. For Ancients and the like, I imagine GHQ could do a line that would make the other companies cringe!
I have to say though, you cannot beat microarmor for WWII/Modern gaming as all 10 and 15mm games I have played become the dreaded 'parking lot' rather quickly!
Without bashing the WWII 10mm and 15mm mini manufacturers out there too bad, I'd just like to state that from what I've seen and bought, their best offerings are not even in the same room with GHQs 6mm line. The detail and more importantly, crispness of detail, is just not there. Facial expressions and detail on PP and BF figures is bland and I've bought vehicle kits that are so bad, I wont even build them as there are so many errors and irregularities that it would take me forever to fix.
Summing up, I hope that GHQ continues to expand the WWII 1/285th line, filling in the all my wants and needs instead of beginning a new larger scale line unless they have the resources to do the whole thing as I would want it all now!
