Hi all,
I'm currently working on some German armour for North Africa and have been doing some research on the net for the tropical color for the clothing that the infantry wore. It has been suggested that they were of a tropical color, almost green and am having hard time trying to find the right color that would be suitable for this scale (GHQ size).
Can or does anyone have any suggestions?

These DAK infantry from the other guys are painted with Model Master Afrika Khaki Braun RAL 7008 for their caps and trousers and their tunics are Model Master Afrika Grun Braun RAL 8000. I don't know if they are the "correct" colors but they came out looking pretty good colorwise anyway.

Hi Pitfall,
I agree : it's difficult (but fun).
And about the following :
"Most any faded khaki/feldgrey/ochre colors can be used."
Agreed again , and, IMO, even if this is not absolutely "right" different shades of olive green can be used too ;
Following these lines here is a DAK group in a kind of "rag and tag" uniform :

Cheers,
