6mm Electricity pylons?

Post by Rutgervanm »

Has anyone ever find some of these in 6mm?

I think no Cold War German battlefield is complete without them. It might be difficult to locate these in the proper scale though, so I was thinking of getting the HO Hornby ones and just cut the bottom off.

I know where you can get them in 1/2400 scale but that doesn't help does it. I have a source for street lamps in 1/300 scale but no towers.

Yes, they are exactly what I'm looking for. Where'd you get them?

The small two light street lamps and the base of the high tension tower come from Walthers, a railroad model supplier. The top of the high tension tower was scratch built from clear plastic card stock with the structure painted in the appropriate color. Lots of work, but well worth it. Will

What country has red and white towers? I copied the ones locally and they are all steel gray. But probably should have researched what West Germany had.

I used model RR plastic lattice giders. Probably for N scale. I scratch built them a long time ago. Before the internet.
