Ahhhh, Thanks GHQ (Rubs hands together in anticipation of violating the spouse imposed no-self-presents rule!)

Impeccable timing.

What a pitty that shipping from the USA to the Netherlands is so expensive :( This nice discount of 15% probably won't even cover the tax costs.
Oh well, I still have some stuff laying around to paint, like some nice firefly tanks.

GHQ 15% Off Sale

Post by pmskaar »

I have a few items that I will be ordering this time around. I have plenty of stuff to paint but there is always room for some new things. My list is as follows:

G545 - Pz IVG - 2 packs. I need some for Russia and Tunisia.
US95- U.S. Infantry #2. I have the other U.S. infantry as yet unpainted. I will be painting some up soon and these will add some variety to the ones I have. By the way, a new U.S. heavy weapons pack is needed with water cooled Brownings, the air cooled 30 cal, and maybe some 81mm mortars with proper crews.
R64 - Russian Infantry #2. I have a company of painted Russian infantry already but want some with rifles. I would like to see more Russian heavy weapons as well.

There are some other items I am interested in but will hold off for now. I no longer have an almost unlimited budget and have plenty of other GHQ stuff to paint that I already have. This should do it for now.

I intend to wait until the end of the month because I want to include an Admiral Scheer and some Wolfhounds in the order. Then, having built up my warchest over the past several months, I will also order some Soviet WWII ships and a large number of WWI light cruisers and destroyers.

But that ridiculously high Euro to Dollar exchange rate should go a long way...

Seriously, USPS flat-rate shipping to Europe isn't that bad. Having just ordered several hundred Euros worth of car products from Belgium, it's way cheaper than sending things the other way - exchange rate, aside.

We just sent 17 lbs of magazines in a large box to Greece for $15.

Thanks for the info Steve. I might try it again, but last time I ordered from a webshop in the USA the shipping was ok, and of course the Dollar to Euro conversion was great, but customs asked for about 30 euros for a 160$ order (and $23.5 for 4lbs flat rate shipping). Costums (import+tax) can go as high as 25%.
But 17 lbs for just $15 is really cheap! (I can only order 8 GHQ packs for that amount)
