Micronaut rules

Post by TAMMY »

Interpenetration.

The rules states (8.7) that collisions may result when two ships at the end of the Tactical Movement Phase are in base to base contact.

DURING movement, is a ship allowed to cross another base? Or for any reason pass over another model?

Thank you

I would like to explain the reason of the question. It was raised by fellow gamers (I would say more used to landa games) during a game because it was the only way to complete a complex manouver.

My istinctive reaction was "impossible" but this gave way to a long discussion. To put an end to it I would like to get the opinion of other Micronauts players. Of course, I hope they will support my position.

I can't speak to what is in the Micronaught rules, but if you don't get something like this:

then it would be time for a rules update.

I knew it. The same happende to HMS King George V.

But the point is not the reality but a bit of nitpicking on the rule text.

A collision (if any) may result when two ships END the tactcial movement[ in base to base contact. According to other players this justify any kind of contact or "fly over" DURING the movement. I was unable to convince them that it is a wrong interpretation and that a model is always a physical obstacle.

I turned the question to the forum, to get support for one interpetation or the other.
