V splashboard on T-80

Post by zaevor2000 »

Why doesn't the base T-80 model W45 have the V splashboard on the hull? The V splashboard was a common feature on the T-64, T-72, and T-80.

Virtually every photo I've seen in TankNet, Bariatinsky's book, Zaloga's book, all have T-80s with the V splashboard except for a very few pics of the first prototypes...

I really wish they could revise the T-80 model by including the V splashboard that was on probably about 99.5% of the ones deployed.

I feel bad about posting this because as GHQ can attest by the orders placed over the years, I absolutely love the detail of the minis. Absolutely incredible.

Why, in my day, we didn't have counters. We had to paint the unit values onto little rocks. maps?! Hah! We had no paper maps! We put our rocks in the dirt. It sucked when it rained, but we soldiered on!!! Don't get me started on dice...
