Anyone need a UN force?

Post by 7.62 »

If anyone needs a UN force I have some Scotia models to swap/exchange.
40 x VAB.
15 6x6 VCI (10 with OWS).
10 4x4 VCI.
10 4x4 Mortar.
5 4x4 ATGM.
5 x VBL 4x4 (5-6 more if I can find them).

Basic Scotia models, basic OG paint. A very long way from GHQ!
Just paint them white and spend many a hour debating if to deploy them!

Looking for anything South African (I really need some Centurions).
1 to 1 for Scotia.
2-3 to 1 for GHQ

I have a ton of Scotia Centurions already painted as South Africans and other spare South African vehicles (Ratels, Buffels, G6, Landrovers etc). I'm not sure If I want to start a modern French army though :)

Kieran,
Excellent site, really makes me want to get into some major painting this Winter.
The VABs are very basic even compared to a Ratel. The VBLs are OK, just never put them on the same table as a GHQ one
If you ever change your mind I would go 2 for 1 in your favor.

Hi

I used to have a French army and I like the Scotia VBLs. Before the GHQ ones came out they were all you could get and quite nice. As to the VABs I prefer the H&R and of course GHQ models over the Scotia ones. Most of the Modern Scotisa French range is terrible in general.

Cheers
Kieran
