On the commercial level, Dan Bolger's book DRAGONS AT WAR gives a pretty good rundown of a mech battalion task force that was sent to the NTC back in 1982. I still have my ratty 20 year old dog eared paperback copy . I think I saw on Amazon where it was available in paper for just the 6 dollar shipping cost.
The battalion was from the 24th ID here at Stewart and had 113's as squad carriers, M-901 ITV'sin the antiarmor platoon and scout platoon (no Anti armor co. E yet) Line companies still had 81mm mortar tracks and the ADA sections were still shootin Redeyes from jeeps. The tank company cross attached from 2-70 Armor had just gotten the M-60A3 AT Stewart, but had to draw the A1 version from the Boeing yard at the NTC.
I used the book myself for forming my H series Army National Guard division at platoon scale. I went with the early 80's Guard lineup ,though (M-48A5 MBT, M-42 Dusters in the ADA Bn, and the old "stand up out the rear hatch and fire the TOW " version of the M-113 for my AT platoons).
Best of luck!

Thats curious! Try searching Amazon books using the author keyword Daniel Bolger. You should come up with the a list of his books . DRAGONS AT WAR should be in there and, as I said, they were for practically nothing. He has a similar book called THE BATTLE FOR HUNGER HILL which chronicalizes his rotations throught the JRTC at Polk as a battalion commander in the 101st Air Assualt in the early to mid 90's.
MG Bolger is (or was....I havent checked lately) the boss of the 1st Cav at Hood.
Pretty interesting guy.
