Post WWII stuff needed!

Post by spock1 »

You know, the Post WWII stuff is a little lacking. Even with Wer. 47' and modern lines we still have gaps.
We need to see the Atomic Cannon, M37, M44, & M52 SP Guns, and the M59 & M75 APCs .
Then we can add some 105 mm Abbot SP Guns and Fox (I believe the name's correct) heavy armoured, wheeled, cars with six-sided turrets & 75 mm guns so favored by the British after the war. 8)
For the flyboys lets have the Sabre and MIG 15 Jet Fighters, along with the other aircraft that served with them in that era.
Then let's round out the request by adding the Nike-Hercules, Redstone, Lacrosse, & Hawk Missile Systems into the mix.
I think that starts the ball rolling, so what do you think? :)

I also would like to see the 'Atomic Cannon,' M37, M44, M52, M59, M75, and Abbot (although the Abbot was at least a decade later than the others).

The Fox was a relatively small 4-wheel reconnaissance vehicle with a 30mm gun. For a heavy armored car with a six-sided turret & 75mm gun, you might mean Saladin.

Lacrosse and Hawk missile systems are interesting and could be modelled in Microscale, but Nike-Hercules and Redstone were only marginally mobile.

Thanks for the Correction.

Thanks for the correction on the Heavy Armoured Car, I though I had the name wrong after I posted it. The Saladin is the one I'm referring to and where the Brit's were it was. :)
As for the Abbott, I realize that it is a generaion later, but it was a main stay for the Brit's for a long time, it would fill some gaps in mid-cold war period, and it would make a cool model on top of that! 8)
As for the bigger missles, yes, they are fixed for the most part, but they would make great tarkets to defend or attack by the other side. Besides, you could always have them off board to represent that strike capability.
Thanks,

I would prefer not to have duplication of high quality vehicles.

I can get a FOX recon, a decent one from another company. As for the Abbott, as I recall two other companies produce it, and it would be neat if GHQ produced it as I have 18 or so somewhere from the other companies. [those are available if I can dig them out for trade or purchase]. Not sure how many I would want, perhaps 12. GHQ does produce the Saladin & Sarecen.

GHQ already makes both the Fox and the Saladin.

Thanks very much for the info. :)
As may times as I've looked over the catalog, and I've looked at it alot, I missed the Saladin entry. I'll put the Saladin on my next order at the end of the year!
Thanks for the Fox entry too.
Thanks again,
