GHQ, thank you for the sale. Appreciate it a lot, why I bought a lot.
The M2A3 apprears to be right size as compared to existing Bradley models produced. Figure looks great, bought 60, will buy a bunch more. Probably target about 200+ of the M2A3 ultimately. 60 for each of three color schemes: olive drab, dark tan, and 3-tone NATO.

Product Review: Question

IJN 49 Kuma
There is also a mistake on the IJN 49 Kuma she is smaller than the other IJN cruisers that are the same length. Don scaled her out at 494 when she should be 532 as is the IJN Nagara, IJN Kitakami and the IJN Jintsu after I had posted in an earlier post.

Product Review measurements
Here is my measurements, hopefully performed properly. Some measurements were an estimate if the end of vehicle was between two lines, tried to represent it properly.

First we would like to thank all of you for being GHQ customers. Without all of you, there could not be a GHQ. As much as we strive to produce the highest quality, accurate models in the world, it is possible that we can make a mistake. With that being said, if you do have a comment/criticism of a model and you would like to post about it, please be sure to include your sources. Over the last 45 years we have received countless e-mails from someone "who read a book once" who says that we have modeled something incorrectly. In 99%+ of those comments, our model was correct. When we make a model, we do a lot of research, and use multiple sources. That doesn't means that it is impossible for us to make a mistake. However, it takes a lot of time to go through and verify information. Time that would be saved if the comment/criticism included where the information came from.
The Puma has 3 different sets of armour that can go on it. Our model has all of them. This may make for some differences in measurements. It is especially difficult on newer vehicles because often times some things are changed between the prototype that are shown, and when the equipment is actually delivered.
Thank you for your support,
GHQ

My sources for Kuma class cruisers:
- Gray, Robert (ed.) 'Conway's All the World's Fighting Ships 1906-1921,' p. 238. "Dimensions: 532ft oa, 520ft 1in wl x 46ft 6in x 15ft 9in"
- Jentschura, Hansgeorg, Dieter Jung and Peter Mickel (trans. by Antony Preston and J. D. Brown 'Warships of the Imperial Japanese Navy, 1869-1945,' p. 106. "Length, ft in / 532 0 oa / 520 1 wl / 500 0 pp"
Using a vernier caliper, I measured all five of the IJN49 that I have; all have an overall length of about 2 58/124 inch. In 1/2400 scale, this comes out to the equivalent of 494 feet.
Although the model looks good by itself, when placed next to a Nagara (IJN24) it definitely looks too short.

Kuma Class added reference 1/18/12
Dear GHQ
As with Don my sources for Kuma class cruisers:
- Gray, Robert (ed.) 'Conway's All the World's Fighting Ships 1906-1921,' p. 238. "Dimensions: 532ft oa, 520ft 1in wl x 46ft 6in x 15ft 9in"

- 'Drawings of Imperial Japanese Naval Vessels' Volume 7 #2
162.1m, 531-10 oa / 158.6, 420-4 wl /14.2m, 46-7 beam
-Wikipedia, always taken with a grain of salt, but their numbers match my books.
- Watts, A.J.'Japanese Warships of World War 2" added 1/18/12
The model is outstanding in detail, but when set next to the Kitikami, Nagara and Jintsu it is smaller.
Kuma 531-10 x 46-7
Nagara 534-9 x 48-5
Jintsu 532 x 46-6
Scale of GHQ Kuma 494
Not meaning any disrespect, I have been collecting Micronauts since they first came out in the early 1980s, but I noticed this last weekend when I was starting priming and painting my IJN cruisers. I have always appreciated every release.
GHQ is par none. Thank you for you attention to this matter.
