As a new member of this forum it strikes me that there are no sub forums. Would it be possible to add a few for future ease of finding posts about "this" and "that".
For example sub forum for moderns, cold war, vietnam, ww2, micronauts, terrainbuilding, painting tips, rules, gallery, etc. There are a lot of pages to go trough when trying to find something about X, and the search is not always on my side.
Just a thought.

Well, I see your points, but my point was not to backtrack all the existing threads.
For example, the "show us your stuff" thread can still be there without change, as can the wishlist thread.
As for the different "familys", naval, acw, ww2, modern etc. every one can have their own AAR, painting, scenario or whatever.
I see no problem here. I'm not meaning to fix the working radio, but just for future posts have a more easy way to find what I want.

Hi Oriax, and welcome!
It has been my experience that this forum is like a rolling conversation. Sure, the search functions don't help that much (either too much or too little) but I've seen many posts where someone asks a question about something after searching (and not finding) and getting several people re-posting their previous contributions (and some new ones) to specifically answer the query. Perhaps not efficient, but definitely collegial. An example would be the 'basing minis' discussion; many ways to do it, asked many times, and some of these askers DID find the previous threads and decided to ask anyway.
Besides, an efficient search function just encourages lurkers... with this level of collegial inefficiency we encourage people to say hello

There is no right or wrong, only decisions and consequences.

Hi and thanks!
Well, if nobody minds answering the same question over and over, there may not be a problem. I guess I'm just not used to the "rolling conversation" way. I'll just ask what I want to know then!

Sub folders is a great idea. Although not everything has to be in a sub-folder, it may be its own sub-folder, such as ...show us your stuff.
You will get something and lose something with the switch. Get more focus on what you are perhaps interested in. May lose not picking up an idea that perhaps some WW2 guys are working on if you are interested in moderns, etc.
