Watching the Pacific has got me looking at GHQ's Japanese and US infantry for pacific games. The motivation you get from watching the Pacific as you paint.

One bit of advice tho: Don't read the books after you watch the show! I was stoked on how realistic the show is and then read Helmet for My Pillow. Boy did they water down the show! Lekie's decriptions were horrific and much much more intense than the show.

Same feeling when I read With the Old Breed.
