Contents of New US Infantry N570, and N571

Post by cvn68 »

I was wondering if anyone knew the how many of what poses were in the new US infantry packs and how they would look blended with the old some of the older US Infantry packs N125 and N126. Thank you in advance for your help

I can't say how many of each come in a pack as I've already broken my packs down and combined them in the painting queue. However, I can tell you that they appear to be compatible for mixing the stands. At least, it's my intention to do so in the future to get a wider variety of figures onto each stand. Have to see how that works out...

I have just received a package of each today, unfortunately my camera is not working, however for those of who might be interested I will list the contents of the packages. In the N571 Modern US Heavy Weapons Pack c.2001-14 came with:
2 sprues, of snipers with M107 Barrett rifle. Each sprue having ten figures
1 sprue with 9 figures in prone position with M240 figures
1 sprue with 6 stands of M252 81mm mortar with two crewmen each
2 sprues with 6 stands of M240 or M2 HMG on tripod and two crewmen each
1 spue with 4 Javelin ATGM gunners, seated, firing ATGM
1 sprue labeled "A" with five figures with binoculars, and 5 figures with laser unit

As For N570 Modern US Infantry c. 2001-14
1 sprue with infantry carrying M4 in a "port arms fashion with but end up and barrel towards ground with 10 figures
1 sprue with M249 being fired from kneeling position with 9 figures
1 sprue labeled "B" with 10 figures walking/patrolling with M4 or M16 at port arms (in the same fashion described in above for the first sprue in N570 pack
2 sprues with wit M4 being fired from seated position with five figures per stand
1 sprue labeled "A" with five figures with binoculars, and 5 figures with laser unit.

IMO these packages are a great addition to the N125 and N126 packages and will work well. THANKS GHQ.

Thanks for the detailed description of the sprues! Can you confirm that none of the figures has an M203 grenade launcher on their M4s/M16s?

Some might consider it a major oversight, since every fire team in both the Army and Marine Corps should have a grenadier......but I'm not going to let it stop me from ordering some!

Also....I just noticed the catalog page states "60+" figures for the N570 pack but your breakdown comes to only 49....

Sorry I could not repy at sooner. Have been withou a computer for a couple of weeks. as for wat I listed this is what I recieved. Others may not recieve what I have. Although I love snipers jut as much as the next person, I (personnal) thought 20 was a little muchgiven my limited knowledge. Being this was a new product as in the past with ordering infantry I have found that sometimes you more of one thing and less of another, but after a while I works its self out. As for detemining if there is a M203,I would say yes/maybe. The reson for this answer is when compared side by side with infantry from the N125/N126packs, the newer ones are slightly smaller, but seems withsome more detail with google son some of the helmets visable. The figure in question about the M203 -?. It looks as if it could be one very much, however it is not as defind as the figure in the N125 pack toting a M203. However the mixture of some M4s and M16s figures from each of the packs gives a good. I like the new M570 packs as it looks more like patolling figures look, and N125 look good for the assaulting troops, however the M4 in the seated firing position adss well to the defending/attacking look also. Just wish I could get prone and kneeling figures firing M4s or M16s to round out poses. Like how thier first Infantry looked years ago when GHQ first started (still have some).
