Cama,
congratulations!!

Yesterday, 12-15-14 was my 10 year anniversary. The benefit of reading great gaming ideas (many), kit-bash and scratch built items way too many to list or even think of [do miss opsctr, just over 3 years ago]) is wonderful, and I have meet a few gamers on here either at Historicon that I have known from the forum, and others I have met and gamed that are within 2 hours drive time. Still a few others I have traded with.

We have also been able to develop ideas and communicate our wishes to GHQ, so that they can meet some of our wishes/consumer demands.

So this forum has been a tremendous benefit to me. Hope you have received benefit from this forum as well.

Merry Christmas!!
Chris

Well I have another 7 days before I reach the lofty heights of the 10 year club.

So I guess I should take this opportunity to rag on Cama the old man!

(But I won't. )

Gratz to all with 10 year anniversaries.

I wish this existed when I first started back in the early 80s. Then got married and took 15 years off.

Has it been 10 years already? I had a full head of hair then and I was about 15 pounds lighter. What is this forum doing to me?

I actually remember very clearly sitting in the kitchen of a large house outside of Tikrit, pounding on a laptop computer setting up my GHQ profile. Someone yelled that there were incoming rockets and I said "Hold on...I finally got onto the GHQ website!" That was back when the site had that crazy yellow background!

What's maybe more concerning is that I still have some unpainted stuff from before I joined the forum.

Yep - I've been here ten years as well..!

Though, I think that was my second registration.

Ten years for me as well. Thanks to everybody on the forum for your ideas and inspiration. I have learned a lot about gaming, modeling and painting from you guys.
