LOL. What a joke. They can't hit the broad side of a barn with a laser range finder, a stabilized gun mount and magnified optics - all while moving slower than a person can walk!

The Russians better hope things don't escalate in the Ukraine, because they'll get their butts kicked by anything in the West even glancing in their direction.

Its not surprising WoT is a sponsor seeing as how they (the devs) are Russian as well.

It was very amusing, thank you! It was very interesting comparing this video with others showing the 'superiority' of the T-90 to the Leopard 3, Challenger or Abrams. The Chinese broke theirs driving around a test circuit. Almost nobody could hit anything, and while their 'cross country' speed was useful, as as has been said, they had to slow to a crawl to hit anything.
WoT and War Thunder are essentially to make Russians feel better. You have to admit, though, I bet Tom Clancy would have done something similar given the opportunity.

Reminds me of when I went to see TigerComp at Ft Knox's Yano Gunnery Range a decade or so ago.

The 4 top tank crews from the USMC (1 hand-picked team from each of the active USMC tank battalions) used to go to the Army School of Armor to hold an annual competition. First a shooting competition, then a moving and shooting competition (from firing position to firing position, with some targets popping up and down, and one target moving across their field of fire).

I don't know if they have kept it up now that the School of Armor has moved from Knox ... last mention I've seen on TigerComp was in 2012 at Lejeune.

It was pretty cool! Sitting in the bleachers with colonels and generals. Attended by Army, Marine and Airforce brass, as well as liaison officers from the British and French armies.

And ... it was free to get in! Yep. No charge to the general public, thanks to Ft. Knox's public affairs office. IF you knew when and where to go, that is!

No, they are Byelorussian, not Russian.

These days, they are wondering whether they are more "Russian" or more "ex-Soviet", although the question has not been put to them quite as forcefully as it has to the Ukrainians.

Certainly these guys put plenty of training rounds down range to prep for the events?
