More Holland 1944 gaming

Post by mluther »

Latest 6mm I Ain't Been Shot Mum game played at Gigabites in Marietta, GA was based on the action between the Hallams and 1/FJR2 with slight help from 3/559 schw pzjgr abl. on October 7 1944. The Hallams were holding a farm village and the German Paras were counterattacking. Once again inspired by the incredible Autumn Gale book by Didden and Swarts.
First time I've used Fallschirmjaegers and they will chew up the opposition if given a chance. First time for the Jadgpanther and well, not so much.

Awesome looking game. You are one of the few guys who know how to make terrain and this one is really the way it looks here in Holland.
Thanks for posting!

That is a great layout and AAR once again. Thanks very much for sharing this with us. I know you put an awful lot of work into your terrain, miniatures and games and it shows. I always look forward to your AARs.
If Gompel says this looks like Holland then that's high praise for your terrain layout.

That is high praise indeed. I have not had a chance to get the fantastic looking paper buildings in the GHQ resources put together to put out on the table yet. But the Autumn Gale books is full of so many great scenario ideas that I will be using them.
Thanks for the comments,
Mark
