Made some ruined factory pieces...

Excellent looking stuff- your castings are much more crisp than mine. They look really good!! How did you manufacture the "lids" for your forest? I saw a similar idea in line but it looked expensive to do... But that's the route I want to go with my forests eventually.

I do have the luxury of a vac chamber so perhaps that's it. :?:

I used 5mm fomex (foamed pvc), cut it to shape, dabbed paint on the top of the uprights ( I used styrene rod in the first but switched to nails for the second) and placed the lid on top to mark where the two met and then tapped the head of a nail on each blob so there's a slight indentation to help them sit steady. Then added a few lumps of milliput, and clump foliage over the top. Once all dried sprayed it with diluted PVA to harden it a biut, suffered some whiting because I didn't dilut the PVA enough. Very easy, quite fun and very happy with them.
