Nashorn...
A friend of mine did that, drill the holes for turret ring.. Lost several of them in learning and periodically. Also sent PM.
The multi color camo would/does look better.

Keep what you have. Spend the money on new stuff which you will like better. If you are inclined to sell some of your M1(105mm), I might be in a position to buy a 58-tank battalion in January.

Yeah. I am the local gamer. Still looking to get more from Nashorn88 (Wayland.)

We need to play soon too.

I use jeweler's cases and trays to store my micro armor.

Since you are going to convert your hulls to M1A2s, what will you do with your old M1 turrets?

I suggest, if you have M60-series tanks, you convert some of them using the M1 turrets and adding armor panels to the front slope and along the sides using card stock. I have read and seen pics of several proposals doing this in real life, so it is not beyond the pale. These proposals include uparmor, suspension upgrades, and an improved engine/transmission to move the extra weight around.

@ Derry and Nashorn

You need to be careful advertising all that lead or the Cali EPA will come knocking on your door with a citation. J/K.... That is the scale of collection I am aspiring to, well maybe not the division level of tanks but the numbers maybe. Derry, I do like the idea for storage, maybe after my move I can convince House Hold 6 to let me spread out from under the bed for storage.

Yes, the bar has been raised. Of course, I'm sure there are others out there with enviable numbers to make us struggle to keep things in perspective. How can we manage with less than 2... uh...3...uh, maybe 5 divisions?

Ghq got back to me with a price but still too expensive to covert a bunch of them over. If the M1a2 goes on sale its just a little more to buy a new tank.
I may do some brand X but would be a bit of work to drill out hull.

Think I'll just wait for now and work on painting up my WWII stuff.
