My first purchase was at the Scale Model Shop in West La Fayette, Indiana (Go Purdue!) in 1978. I still have the Calliope Shermans, and Centurions I bought that day. I shudder to think how much I have spent over the years but it is worth it to me.

I got my MS from Purdue in '72, but didn't get started in 1/2400 Micronauts until about 1980.

My first packs were in at the US Cavalry Store out the south gate of Fort Knox in1978, right after we finished a couple rounds of Dunn-Kempf in the Armor Advanced Course.
