A big THANKS! to madman, who sent me an M60A2 company, plus a couple spares, to add to my burgeoning collection. If anyone else out there has some rusting away in the Back 40, I'm still interested.

Oh, gosh...
Thanks to madman's contribution of a 17-tank company of M60A2s, I find myself looking for 37 more to complete the battalion... Alas, one cannot have just a company or two! One must have a complete BATTALION!
Should you come across any, I will pay the current price for a package of 5 or any division thereof, which is a pretty good offer, since they probably haven't been available since the price per pack was $5.95. I will also pay shipping and handling.

It isn't that I don't LIKE the CinC M60A2. I have a battalion of 'em. It is more that I PREFER the GHQ model. Having served in the M60A2, I find the esthetics of the GHQ model more accurate from my perspective. You may disagree. It isn't a matter of calipers.
When I look at the GHQ model, I think of a real M60A2 shrunken to 1/285th scale. It looks like the real thing, only smaller.
The CinC main gun barrel is too long, as is the bore evacuator. That is fixable with brass rod, of course. The turret basket is too deep and too broad. It looks LESS like the real one. The cupola is not shaped as well. The front of the hull - driver's position and the front slope, are a bit too long. The turret is too flat and the hull is too high. The CinC is a good model, but I think the GHQ is the more accurate one. I just like it better. There may be people who feel the opposite. It is my misfortune that CinC still makes the M60A2 and GHQ doesn't.
