I would second that Cama, ive used the GW seal and its a matt/gloss and ive ruined a few good painted models with that.
I must get some testors though

I spray matt varnish prior to ink wash. It helps evenly spread the wash. Remove excess pooling with another brush.

So I just use a base coat of white or sometimes brown. Should I really be using something designated on the label as a "primer"?
