Sounds like the one I got on May 25...

Yes, nearly three weeks ago and no update since then. Getting a bit disappointed

I’m sure everyone will praise GHQ when they finally dump the release list.

Personally, if I only had half the list I'd release it in stages and pretend that's what I was going to do all along.....

Anybody think all this griping is bringing the list closer?

I see little evidence GHQ even reads this forum very often, so no, not really. Frankly, it would be worse if they were reading this thread and still did nothing!

There is a lot of truth in what you say. Almost zero model/hobby companies give a list of upcoming products and actually hit the target date

The only concern I have is the current leadership/management as engaged in the business as previous generations? Maybe, but there is no reason an update on the release schedule cannot be distributed. While GHQ does have great customer service, the same cannot be said for responding to all important questions that are asked and while the new models are as good/better than ever - the casting quality of production lots is not as good as it has been in the past (at least on a number of models).

They are still the best ever, but their faithful customers are spoiled and we do deserve to see some of the new releases soon.

Tis true, we are spoilt, but let's give them the chance. They did hold out on the new releases for April until the turnover of the specials. If this is the new plan, then we can expect the release for August to be out of synch with the actual turnover, and in synch with their special change as well.

So in this case, we watch and wait for the info same as we wait for any other new release... impatiently ;) :D

The next releases are due in 16 days and still no word. Terrible lack of communication, but what can we do?

Not likely!

Actually, I bet we will see them early next week. People take vacations etc. Rather than whine, I am now going to predict the announcement date - I say June 19, 2018

Marketing

I think it's just a marketing thing. If there is no comparable competition out there GHQ can do pretty much what they want. The anticipation and suspense just makes us consumers hungrier, lol.

I haven't looked here in awhile, but all that I can say is have some patience...and pride, gents. The list will get here, and no one will die, or even be hurt in the process. They always get it up sometime between mid May mid June. Even if it's up a little later, it's still not going to get the releases up any sooner. I'm sure that they are putting the list together, they said it somewhere fairly recently.

Don't get me wrong, I always look forward to going through the list, building the armies in my head, and thinking up the possibilities, but I don't think that some of these posts are going to speed things along.
