Feeling neglected and sorry for yourself, Fireball. If GHQ is ignoring the forum, we will just have to exercise a little initiative ourselves and keep it going.

I am a long term fan of GHQ. I started collecting them in '74 or '75. Still have those Tiger Is. I am also a big fan of pretty much all the manufacturers of 1/300, 1/285, 6mm etc. Almost all my infantry are H&R as GHQ was slower off the mark. I do still have my "modern" US infantry, circa late 70s(?) but I liked the availability and thought H&R's poses were better looking. I also collected a LOT of aircraft and again GHQ was late to the table there as well. I remember at Origins '78 CinC had just released their A-10s and GHQ must have had planes out then but the A-10 was a ways away. I had to re-sculpt the nose as it was too much of an anteater but that is what you did back then.
I don't sit on my computer hitting refresh when the new releases are due to come out. I am usually a few years behind the curve at best. But it is nice too see the ever expanding line and that items from every period get some love. Far from all that I am looking for, so I will happily go elsewhere to fill gaps. I don't feel this is a slam on GHQ, like any company they can't be all things to all customers. I have also refrained from posting pics of other companies models but have advised on possible sources for gap filling. Not my cup of tea but it is good to see some competitor's products up on the "show us" thread. Plus a smattering of models I know GHQ will never bring out (sci fi mechs). The bulk of my collection is from three to four decades ago so a lot of the planes came from elsewhere. The sculpts are, mostly, crude but again they filled the gaps and I hope my painting skills helped breathe a little life into them.

Cama, you are a sick man. You NEED to be absorbed into the Commonwealth of Chrisdom, which will tax sufficiently to keep you ftom allocating resources to cruelly beating that dead horse.

An inquiry has been received by the Commonwealth of Chrisdom from Camastan to become a member. After the initial laughing, hacking, coughing, the administration said that they would call CPR since the return address appears to be post marked Gator State. We shall listen to CPR.. and they replied ................
