No I didn't get lasic. I had what are called Salzmann nodules on my corneas pressing on them distorting my vision. (They're apparently really more common for much older women, so, yeah, I'm apparently an old lady now) To fix it, they numb the eye and scrape them off and try to polish the surface. It's as comfy as that sounds. While getting better, I just can't look at computer screens long and can't read very well. But getting better. This is almost as expensive as lasic but insurance brings the cost down a lot.
