Looking at your German sheet, Gazza, it may be an older one but the decals look about the same. The ones I got recently also have some German Balkenkruez emblems and some red/white/black tricolor flags as well. The layout on yours is definitely different.

Pete,

Keeping Mike's strait is always a challenge.. As for me, I am easy going and you can call me by my last name or first... also answer to just about anything.. LOL... Had a guy in highs school that use to call me by someone else's name and it because a running joke till I graduated.

On the subject of the aerial markings, I think I lost something in your explanation. Do you apply the decals directly to the tank or do you mount it to some paper or other type of backing? I think Gazza said that I-94 was thicker so you did not have to mount them on a foil first.

I love how the PZIII aerial markings came out. They look great. Can't wait to see your work in person and meeting the master behind the brush.

I think its great that the site is seeing a little bit of a resurgence and people are posing more work.

Hi Hoth! I will try to keep everything straight and look forward to seeing you and the other Mike at Sand Wars. I will bring some extra stuff for show and tell.

I applied the flags straight off the decal sheet with no paper or foil backing. The material is a bit heavier. I just try not too hit it with TOO much Micro Sol as I don't want it to conform too perfectly to the contours of the tank. I also cut the flag carefully off the sheet trying to get the cut as close as I can.

Thank you very much, Burt! I appreciate it.

Hi Gazza! Thanks for the clarification on the decal sheet. I now have 24 of the size I think I need the most which should be most of what I need for a while.

Here is another ship that I painted for the GHQ catalog. This is HMS Southampton a British light cruiser that was lost in 1941.

Hey Pete, what colors did you use for this ship, brand and names?

Pete,

I think I have your process down now. I think I am going to give it a shot in the near future. Agreed that it will be great to meet in person. If you are bring a few extra pieces for show and tell, maybe I will bring a few.

Hi Hoth

That would be great! It is always neat to see what other people have done.

I can't put my micro armor on the same table as Pete! It's going to look like I color my tanks with crayons compared to his stuff!

I guess I can squeeze a few bunker boxes into my carry-on though. I will deploy the JTFP Forward Command Post, plus a few vehicles that don't look so bad! LOL This is going to be fun!
