Until we put a 17pdr in some. It didn't solve the armour problem thoughpanzergator wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 8:21 pm<snip> M10 (ironically, the same number assigned an under-gunned, under - armored tank destroyer of WWII).<snip>

Yes, but that was Achilles, and I kept it to the M10 nomenclature to make the unfortunate parallel. 17pounder in Achilles was better than putting it in Sherman because there was a bit more room to work the gun. A needed improvement, in either case.

The most damage are from Shapeways. I think they are gone now.whenimaginationfails wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2024 12:18 amWhere did you find the concrete barriers, chrisswim?
Most of the rest from GCM. I think he sells ‘stl’ file, too.
Couple of pics with grass.

Here's one of the new Alpha Jets dressed up in late JaboG 41 colors, edited to remove the flight stand. Decals mostly repurposed from one of Flight Deck Decal's West German F-4 sets (hence the over-sized cross and numbers on the nose), and the squadron decal is part of the 144 set of early German Air Force squadrons from Peddinghaus. I felt is was just close enough to work here.
Working on a few more Alpha Jets in earlier schemes.

The SK-105 looks interesting. It appears to be an AMX-13 turret maybe with a larger gun?
