Avro Canada has placed the CL-730 Project on hold, as the company has shifted focus on reviving the CF-21E project from months earlier under RCAF General John Doodles new effort to get a two seater AWAC into production. Both Canadiar and Avro's prototypes should be ready for flight testing by the end of this month. Bombardier Aerospace is interested in joining in on the project.

Upon hearing of the recent news coming from Argentina about the EE. Leaders of the POP will hold a conference with the Leaders of Brazil and Chile, in Brazil’s capital of Rio to discuss plans and solutions to deal with this developing situation.

Unfortunately, the governments in Chile and Brazil have declined the POP’s invitation for a conference. Chile is aligning with the Latin Alliance and Brazil is working hard to stay neutral. Neither country is breaking off diplomatic relations, but they will not be participating in any conferences or meetings.

The first of the two seater AWAC Prototypes has arrived in CFB Toronto, the Canadair CF-32E and Avro Canadas CF-21E2 the latter was a redesign of the Earlier E model made months ago. now the Radar is more flush with the fuselage so it does not impact the Radar Cross Section. Bombardiers prototype should not be far behind. John Doodle will arrive personally to inspect the prototypes.

Flight testing on the two seater AWAC prototypes has just started today. Though Bombardier Aerospace decided to dropout as their prototype would not be ready in time for the tests. These tests conducted by John Doddle and his staff. covers flight performance, And the ability to defend itself should it come under threat. Once the tests are concluded a winner will be chosen. And that prototype will move on to the next step. develop the system needed to make AWAC operations conducted by only just two people.

After a couple days of Tests at CFB Toronto for what’s being called the Next Generation AEW Project. RCAF Major Doodle and his staff. after much deliberations and the performance of the two Prototypes during the tests Avro Canada’s CF-21E2 was Declared the Winner of the competition. Avro’s new task now is to come up with a way to get AEW Capabilities to work with only 2 people.

The KDF Air Force was unable to master the complex self changing diaper system required for the 12+ hours needed to stay on station in a small manned stealth design.
I guess it all depends on what your aircrew are prepared to sit through. In the end the KDF has decided to pamper our people!

The KDF is operating its new K-WACS based on a proven turboprop design. Lots of space and cheap to keep in the air. Large ergonomic work stations, separate rest area with bunks, galley for hot food if needed on those long Winter missions. Full bathroom etc.

Avro CF-21E Program, after a few days of deliberations regarding how to make the AEW functions work for two people it was decided to split up the duty with the Pilot operating the Forward Radar screen, while the Commander in the rear deals with both Look down and Side Radar screens along with the C&C element, it is more of less a "Tactical AWAC" as Avro Canada coins it. a AEW with the performance of a fighter that can operate at the Squadron level during a campaign to provide advanced early warning to get a huge initiative advantage over their opponents.

Networked Solider System Program (NSSP), a small NC Firm from Alberta called Skyline Microsystems is working in conjunction with the NC Army on a next generation of Infantryman gear desgined to improve the soldiers situational awareness on the battlefeild such as a new type of helmet with a integrated radar system to track movement and a rifle mounted Target Acquisition system to send targeting data to other soldiers in his unit. this project is expected to be done by September 2025 hoping to test it for that years Grunt Week.

The Royal Canadian Navy is looking into getting a Operational 5th Generation Fighter for their Carrier HMCS Canada to compliment its existing fleet of CF-118 Super Hornets. A Naval Fighter Competition is being launched this week to Avro Canada and Canadair to create Navalized versions of their 5th Generation fighters designs the CF-21 and CF32. The competition is expected to last into late October with the winner being chosen just before Nov 11.

Unfortunately in order for Avro to make room for their Naval Fighter project. Their Mach 3 recon aircraft project the CL-730 had to be Abandoned, seeing no use in continuing with that project.

Avro's Navalized CF-21 Prototype has been officially unveiled at their factory in Toronto. once the Canadiar CF-32N Prototype is ready they will conduct mock Carrier Landings at CFB Halifax's Airfield, before moving on to real carrier landing tests on HMCS Canada, the winner of the competition will be determined based on its performance and how mechanically reliable they are for the carriers maintenance crews. The Carrier's Spare parts stores has been expanded to accommodate the RAM paint in anticipation of ether prototype winning the competition.

CF-21E Program
After a Couple of Test flights it was determined that it would be To distracting for the Pilot to fly the Aircraft and monitor the Forward Radar at the Same time. This program will be placed on hold until a better solution can be found.

In other News this week A Party is in full swing at Parliament Hill in Ottawa today as The NC Squads that took part in Grunt Week proudly shows off their Expert Warrior Badges and awards they won. And the lessons learned from Grunt Week will help the NC Army to better Cooperate with nations like the ROD and the RPNW.
