A recent book, 2023, getting the reader behind the curtain, and giving an account on how intel is collected, transmitted, used and an assessment of its influence on the results of battles. Centered, as the title says, on the Arctic campaign, but giving a very good view of the craetion and working of Bletchley Park, and a quicker summary of its equivalent in German service.

And Chris, I was in tanks in The Great War and beyond. I was trained at the REAL Armor School, at THE HOME OF ARMOR, FORT KNOX, KENTUCKY.

Surprisingly that little WW1 tank saw use well into the 1980s with its last known sighting was during the Soviet Afghan War.

I still have a NAR Telegram that wrongfully listed my grandfather as MIA during D-Day in 1944. his sherman tank got blown up in the Battle of the Bulge, but survived and was brought back to friendly lines by one of his friends from the same tank unit.
