Painting 1/300 aircraft bare metal

Who has experimented with painting their planes for bare metal aluminum skins? I think there are a lot of new tech bare-metal paints out these days.

I haven't but, if I did, I would spray prime them gray, then paint them silver and add details.

As Milituman74 said, but when you have painted the planes silver, give them a black wash, do some dry brushing, then add details. That's what I did with these, I think they're Luftwaffe 46 IIRC. Sorry for the poor shots, took them during a game with the flash...
