Here are some photos of the GHQ Panther G with side skirts model. These were painted a few years ago. If you look closely you can see where I inscribed a zimmerit pattern on the tank model, hull and turret sides.

Those Panthers are spectacular! So wait....you inscribed each individual zimmerit line? Like with an x-acto knife? That's crazy!

Excellent work on those, Begemot! I love the Zimmerit effects which although subtle came out really well.

Thanks for your comments Redleg and Pete. Maybe you have to be a little crazy to even work 1:285 scale models.

Jagdpanthers

These Jagdpanthers were painted many years ago using enamels and an airbrush for the base color and the green camouflage pattern. The tracks were painted rust. I decided to refurbish them, reworking the details and giving the vehicles decals and a more weathered and less stark look in the paint scheme.

The zimmerit pattern on the models was applied before painting with an Exacto knife.

I have to agree with Pete. Zimmerit looks great. Wish I was that contagious.
