Re: Chrisswim Stuff.
This terrain piece is an idea that I picked up from Mick in FL. I first used a CD, then used hot glue to hold building and trees in place. Then flock two layers for ground cover. Some flocking goes up the building.

That is a nice little vignette, Chris! I don't know if I am ready to use any of my perfectly good CDs to use as a terrain base though.

Re: Chrisswim Stuff.
Another well built home on a solid foundation.
This home is based upon plastic from spinach container ot from tool package.Probably two layers.
Steps: cut to desired size, 2) glue piece a bit larger for the bottom, 3) Prime, 4) hot glue building(s) and trees onto the plastic (already painted, cut tree trunk flat if not already), 5) flock, leave area open for driveway or parking (it will be black or gray), 6) flock second time to lock in the flock, do I want any flock (ivy, vines) going up the building? 7) game with it.

Another house on a CD. That’s not a rock band for next year’s Tanker Ball or the Fighter Rodeo.
This has Florida Beach sand from Jax. FL.

Re: Chrisswim Stuff.
Very nice work, very informative too : I'm not that familiar with modern vehicles, especially logistics, you're bringing me up to date!
That vignette on a CD with the Striker (I think?) in the woods with the buildings looks real. There are some places near me that feel like it!
Now a question, what's the blue battlemech behind the buildings? If it's Battletech, shame on me as I can't recognize what it is (and I should! )

Pete - buy CD blanks by the hundred. You'll have plenty of bases. It's A great idea to us cds.

Re M2 w/105mm... The question is, what is the point? You have plenty of tanks, the 105 is marginally effective, the auto loader is questionable, and infantry with Javelin and TOW in those hulls would certainly be more useful in almost all circumstances. And how many more HUMVEEs carrying Javelin could be air-transported in place of one M10 (ironically, the same number assigned an under-gunned, under - armored tank destroyer of WWII). Maybe for a splendid LITTLE war... Do you need a 105 for infantry support? Probably overkill. To defend against tanks? Might be inadequate and TOW and Javelin likely much more useful, especially if you use the resources to make and carry more of them.
Soooo, both the Bradley 105 and M10 Booker seem to be a boondoggle.

Need to clean this mess….

Then haul it away.

Re: Chrisswim Stuff.
Same group as before, jus 1-2 more trees would have been good to see how much the camouflage blends in.

M109 A1, short barrel artillery these hulls are getting doubl or triple duty.
