This is UCBC News the National here is Dale Mansbridge. "Good Morning with the recent commissioning of our nations first Supercarrier HMCS Canada, the question to the RCN then becomes, what will be her aircraft complement? UCBCs Lisa Farrow explains". (Lisa Farrow): "Thank you Dale there has been many proposals made by the RCN over what her complement would be, one proposal is have it mostly carry CF-14 Tomcats as her main naval fighter while Grumman Avengers will make up her ASW role the rest would be made up by sea king helicopters. The other proposal is to carry only CF-18s and CF-14s, another more radical proposal is to have the carrier launch specially modified Avro Lancaster heavy bombers, the deadline for a decision will be on Monday, Lisa Farrow UCBC news Vancouver".

(Dale Mansbridge): "Meanwhile talks between Canada and the Australian governments over the fate of the CofCs presence in Darwin, are still ongoing in Australia's Capital of Canberra, (Canadian official): "Even through the CofC has ties with the country, but historically Canada has been Australia Strongest ally since the days of WW2". (Dale Mansbridge) the final decision will be set later this month".

You're being talked to real nice... Aussies aren't gonna move the CoC out of Darwin. That would invoke or trigger the Aboriginal Treatise. That Australian Citizens would be required to leave Western Australia and the western part of the Northern Territory and western section of South Australia. Then based upon agreement with Monaco, now Monacodom, would be entitled to the western section of the North Territory. Australia would lose rights to the Naval base at Darwin.

I am glad that the Canadian Government and the RCN is evaluating the options for aircraft for their new carrier, HMCS Canada. Capt Dominne of the SSGN Bolivar is interested too, as he is following the carrier and group of ships about 6 miles to the stern of the carrier. The towed array was being utilized. A submersible was also utilized to get closer to the HMCS Canada, but that was problematic as its speed varied going as fast as 29 knots. So the submersible was only able to collect data from the starboard rear, then return to the mother sub to connect. Was able to capture some wonderful acoustic signature of several of the ships, certainly the HMCS Canada. After 2 hours following the carrier, dove deeper with towed array. The low-band antennae was being used to transfer data to the fleet.
. The Bolivar did ascertain that its presence was detected after 2 hours following along, not sure if they determine the identity of the submarine, but something was out here. The Bolivar did leave the carrier group.

Radio operator: "Sir HMCS Cayuga reported a unidentified submarine trailing behind us"

RCN Officer: "A sub trailing behind our carrier?" (Hand Slams on the Table) "It must be the CofC, thats another incident of those subs from that blasted country spying in Canadian waters, Radioman send a message to RCN headquarters in Ottawa about this incident, this will be the last time the CofC will send subs to Canada".

If a super carrier only conducts testing in their own waters where it is shallow and the wind does not blow too hard, the 'super' is not applicable. A Battleship is safer in harbor, but it was not made to remain in harbor....

With the sea trials of the supercarrier HMCS Canada completed the ship has returned back to Vancouver to began loading aircraft to start evaluations and catapult tests. the RCN Headquarters and the Canadian Government has been notified about the recent incident of a suspected CofC sub, the RCN has ordered several survey ships out to began dropping a series of Sonar buoys to form a early warning system to make sure this does not happen again.

After some discussions the RCN has finalized the fighter complement for the supercarrier HMCS Canada. her Complement will consist of mostly CF-14 Tomcats as her main naval fighter, the Supermarine Seafires for Ground Attack Aircraft, Grumman TBD Avengers as ASW aircraft, and lastly the Seakings be used as transport helicopters.

As for the Fighter Rodeo the Canadian government has unfortunately decided to not participate in the event due the CofC taking part in it, they believe that this could lead to "unintentional hostilities" among pilots. so instead they are conducting there own exercise with there allies. Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea and Brazil.

This is UCBC news The National, here is Dale Mansbridge "Good evening, thousands of Yemenis living in Canada are protesting in Ottawa today over the new Yemen governments decision to become a member of the CofC calling this decision a sham and a inside job". (Yemen Protester): "The people that currently govern Yemen right now are ether fools that have been deceived by the CofCs lies, or are merely actors payed by them to carry out this subversive tactic". (Dale Mansbridge): "In Yer Bouti that country's leader has expressed sympathy to the people living in Yemen and hopes that one day they will be free".

"Meanwhile several Yer Bouti aircraft are making there journey through Canadian airspace in order to reach the island nation of the ROD for this years Fighter Rodeo, as for our Country the RCAF and the RCN will not participate in this Rodeo due to the CofCs presence (RCAF official): "Ever since the incident onboard the ROD carrier Fury last year which lead to the loss of an entire Naval fighter squadron, we are worried of a similar incident happening in that fighter rodeo so the decision was made to not partake in that event, much to the disappointment of our pilots but its for there own safety". (Dale Mansbridge): "the Fighter Rodeo will start on March 11th".

CNNN has received information that a Canadian agency within the State Dept has paid the Yemenis $35 for the day to protest. They hired other mid eastern people to protest at the same rate. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were provided in addition to the voucher to Hortonâ€™s Restaurants. Tomorrow, the protests are expected to double or triple to get the give-away. If this keeps up, the State Dept. budget may be flat, going into the red with 8 months to go.
. As for the incident on the ROD carrier, those spoiled, self-serving Canadian guests of ROD conducted a muntiny on the ship. But for a country that thrives on protests vs. working to develop solutions one should not expect better.
. Australia and New Zealand have decided to not participate in Canadaâ€™s approach and vision. PM Stansel said it is firm in the Aussie cabinet, that Canada has not learned much or anything about working with other countries. We will still work with CoC and their members.

The Governments of Australia and New Zealand calls the Wolfs lair news broadcast "Garbage, full of false rumors and Propaganda", they will still stand with Canada. Protests is not our thing, nor do we pay people to do it. Canada and our allies are not so easily swayed by this.

You only have one of the Canberra class carriers her sister ship HMAS Adelaide is in The eastern fleet base in Sidney operating as part of our allied fleet along with the other Royal Australian navy ships that reside there.
