Thank you very much, Redleg! I appreciate it.
If you are ever in town feel free to let me know. It was great to have you play at Sand Wars.

Thank you very much, Hoth! It was nice to get some of my newer models out this time including the Panzer IIIs for 3rd company, Panzer IVF1s, and Panzer IIs as well as the Grants and a few Panzer IVF2s which have not seen much action for a while.

Welcome Pete. I am going to do my best to make it out your way to make a second attempt at that convention that I missed and meet up with you and Mike to game.

Hi Hoth
I will plan to attend and run a game at Sand Wars next year. If you are able to make it out, I would love to have you play in my game.

Re: Pete's Place
Great pics & models. Interesting scenario you did here! Actually, you had, especially on teh German side, quite a variety of models in each panzer Company. Were some of the Pz III & IVs special, ie the long gun armed version?

Thank you very much, Foxbat!
In this scenario, taking place sometime in June-July 1942, the German forces had a mix of Pz IIIs and Pz IVs including both short and long versions.
I did not want to give the Germans too much power so limited the specials to a small number. For this period it is actually pretty realistic as they still had large numbers of the short barreled Panzer IIIs and IVs.
In the last several North Africa games I have run, the British side has had a squadron or two of Crusaders and the Germans Panzer IIIs only. I have been painting more Panzer IIs, IIIs, and IVs for the Germans over the last few months to increase my options.
Sometime on the horizon, I will get back to painting more British forces as well by adding some more Crusader IIIs to make a complete squadron and another Sherman squadron as well.
My next game will take place on the Russian Front in 1943. Here are a few pictures from a solo game from 2 years ago.
