I could see purchasing additional remote 30mm turrets on Bradley hulls, thus leaving room to carry a couple more dismounts and up-gunning the Bradley. Weight savings from removal of the two-man turret might be allocated to fixing vulnerability to IEDs and additional armor.
All blessings flow from a good mission statement.

I need some slick Suburbans to shunt all these VIPs who like to junket to the front lines and even just come down to look at the motor pools, and maybe just carry around some special troops or something, contractors of various types. In he early 80s, some units used VW busses (the square body type) for various tasks like reconning the border (I know, it was absolute blasphemy to suggest something like that before 1980. It sure surprised ME!) And whay about that CUCV. We saw a LOT of those running around in OD paint. I even saw commanders of various levels (never below colonel) using Dodge minivans and VWs as mobile offices, though NOT in the field.

My updated list of things that are needed and should be included in the 2017 release:
1. M1977 bridge. This is based off the HEMTT vehicle so the chassis and cab are already being made. What is needed is a narrower set of bridge sections. Should be fairly easy to cast and would fill out the U.S. Infantry Brigade bridging sections nicely.
2. Engineering infantry for all infantry lines. Figures could include EOD ** CENSORED **, minesweepers, probing for mines figures, men directing bridging or other activities, and some combat figures (flamethrowers, satchel charges, and the like.) Note that coupling these with a pontoon bridge set would make a very nice Combat Command pack!
3. Modern Afghan and other cavalry. This could also include the dromedary units used in North Africa for those of us modeling Operation Serval or the Algerian Civil War.
4. Additional drone units currently in use. The U.S. Shadow drone, the French Harfang, and whatever the Russians and Chinese are using these days.
5. U.S. MICLIC trailers with LMTV's, Tornado Mine laying boards on trucks/helicopters, etc.
I'll stop now but could add more ad infinitum.

Well, I got my M103A2. I really hadn't expected it, and I am most appreciative. I will start building my battalion as soon as it's out, probably a company at a time. Revising my list for next 2017...
1. M8 AGS (looking to field at least a battalion)
2. MBT70 (I would buy at least 2 battalions' worth - 108 to 116, depending on TO&E)
3. GOER (both cargo - M520, and fuel service versions - M559; there was also a GOER wrecker, but at only 1 per battalion, it isn't worth it.) (Need these for the H-series battalions of the '70s)
4. M48A1 with aux fuel drums on the tail (early '50s)
5. M59 APC (early '50s)
6. M75 APC (early '50s)
7. M800 series 5Ton truck (need a support platoon suite for my H-series battalions)
8. British CVRT2 recon vehicle
9. British Sultan command post vehicle (needed for my British task force)
10. Conqueror (Strongly support the Brits for this)
11. General Dynamics entry for XM-1 (this is the diesel-engine version not accepted)
12. Armored Dozer
13. Stryker with 30mm turret
Are we going to start another thread or just stick with this one?

One thing I'd like to see from GHQ is a pre-ordering system so we can place orders for the upcoming releases in advance. They could limit it to just the next release or even 30 days in advance of the next release. I'm not sure if they could legally do this but it would help alleviate the child-like frustration waiting for the next cycle to roll around.
Oh, also, we could really use the REBS vehicles. They're used by at least two of the world's militaries (U.S. and U.K.) that I know of and possibly others.
