Chris,

The Tankograd book MASSTER MERDC-DUALTEX provides good color photos, paint chips for each pattern, and pattern samples for those three camo patterns, should you be interested. The USAREUR MASSTER pattern is difficult to find patterns for, but between an internet image search and the book, you can find enough pics. The USAREUR MASSTER was used between about 1973-1977, so it is only good for M60 series. MERDC came in at that point and can be used in M60A1s, A2s, and A3s, as well as early M1s, M2s, and M3s. After that, it's NATO or desert sand.

Prior to MASSTER, several shades of OD were in use, my favorite being an almost black OD, for which the Federal Spec is FS595a. Humbrol has something very close. I ordered it from Amazon. I will post particulars once it arrives if anyone is interested. MASSTER USAREUR was only used in Europe. Until MERDC, Stateside vehicles were OD.

The Tankograd Reforger series has diagrams of US company/troop organization, for those interested, although in the 1963 Big Lift issue, it shows an M114 in the command section of a D TOE series, which I have no evidence to support.

The paint jobs look great Chris. It looks a little shiny in some of the shots, but that's probably the camera flash or something because other shots look good and dull. I think the colors are good for the NATO camo.

The cheesecloth has some great potential Chris! I seem to recall someone saying that they tried a used dryer fabric softener sheet too. I love how you put more stuff on your vehicles - it makes them look like they are in the field and gives them a personal touch.

I used dry sheet. With cheese cloth, less is more.
Will cut piece off vs. rip a piece off.
Try for 1 layer, maybe 2.... I may try a few clumps or rolls of netting.
May look for a sub-par turret and hull for practice. Hide the less desirable turret and/or hull.

I was planning to put in more antennas. Came across two turrets that had barrels installed that needed camouflage. Before and end product.
