RCN Fleet Air Arm Future Aircraft Program. (If models exist for aircraft.)
The FAA is looking into modernizing its fleet of Naval aircraft at some point in the future, as their CF-18s is approaching the end of there rather LONG service life even with the spare parts from the RCAF the fighter jets are getting way out of date, Same goes for the CS-2 Trackers in the ASW department as parts are getting rare to find. We are open to suggestions on brand new aircraft to replace them. but under the conditions that the new aircraft has to be affordable and easy to maintain.

Carrier Based Aircraft in this case for the Fleet Air Arm. Primarily for the Super Carrier HMCS Canada, and (in the future) 2 Midway class fleet carriers. The Invincible class Light Carrier HMCS Maple Leaf is not yet finished for use with the CAV-8 Harriers.
The only Aircraft that the FAA will never accept is the F-35. Seriously its a piece of (Censored).

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
OK The NCAFs Department of Acquisitions will purchases a fleet of F/A-18 Es and Fs. that solves the fighter problem, now the ASW Aircraft, what should we go for to replace the CS-2 Tracker?

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
After Deliberating for more then a few days, the FAA decided to retire the CS-2 Trackers without replacement due to a lack of suitable aircraft to replace the Trackers, instead all ASW operations will be carried out by Sea King Helicopters only in our carrier fleet.
Meanwhile the FAA is looking into acquiring the A-3 Sky Warrior to act as our new Heavy Bomber to replace the CF-14 Tomcat in that role.

So NC is to have 4 carriers!!! This will not do.MechCommander wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 7:56 amAfter Deliberating for more then a few days, the FAA decided to retire the CS-2 Trackers without replacement due to a lack of suitable aircraft to replace the Trackers, instead all ASW operations will be carried out by Sea King Helicopters only in our carrier fleet.

Your "new" Super Hornets would carry a much heavier bomb load than an A-3, two different types looks cooler but less bang for your bucks.
BTW Mech are these new aircraft going to be 1/285 or 1/2400 scale?

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
1/2400 scale for doing formation flights. And 1/285 scale for doing close up flights.
The carriers will be just in 1/2400 scale.
The Super Hornets will fill in the gap left by the F-18As as the main Carrier based Fighter. While the A-3s act as our Heavy Bombers.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
Was NC using the Tomcat as a "Heavy Bomber"? And you're going to replace a 1970s-80s aircraft with one from the 1950s-60s? And you couldn't find a suitable ASW aircraft? Don't get me wrong - it's cool to have older aircraft in the inventory, that's one of the things that makes the imagi-nations fun. I just don't follow the logic.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
The reason behind this change is that the CF-14s cannot operate on a Midway class fleet carrier. So the Skywarriors will fill in for the Tomcat as Heavy Bombers on those 2 Carriers, plus the Tomcats role in the FAA has changed to fleet escort dutys onboard HMCS Canada.
Its part of a new restructuring measure to assign a squadron to a single role pending on the aircraft their flying in.

Esquimult BC.
In order to determine if the Pacfic is safe to sail again. the RCN's Pacfic fleet will send out only 3 ships HMCS Fraser, HMCS Annapolis, and HMCS Ville de Quebec, to perform a coastal patrol along Mainland BC. If they see any ships from the RPNW and Karmanaskis while on patrol, they are explicitly ordered to not engage and just monitor them from a safe distance. if one of their ships gets too close to NC waters have it escorted out peacefully. also stay clear of RPNW waters.
Kelowna BC. The NC Army and Air force is doing similar patrol plan along the land border, will deploy their Drone Scout Companys to monitor any activity along the border in the air and on the ground while the Air force patrols the skies with CF-18s. but will not engage the RPNW units and maintain a safe distance if a RPNW unit does get too close or crosses the border have them escorted out peacefully.
