Try ZIP STRIP. You find them at metal hardware stores. It is like naval jelly in consistancy. Be sure to us gloves and mask. Will strip paint from fingures in 1 hour. Use glass mason jar and pyrex baking pan. Use water in pan and use acid brush to remove paint. Properly dispose the reomoved paint. Stuff can be harmful to environment.

There is a cleaner called Simple Green that is supposed to work even better then Pine Sol. I found some at lowes the other day and picked some up. It doesn't have a nasty pine smell and it is touted as environmentally friendly.
Sounds like a perfect solution. :D

There are people on other boards that swear by this stuff. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but I will on my next dip. I don't care much for pine sol since I had to leave some minis sitting in the garage for over a month before the smell dissapated enough to bring them inside.

What sort of Simple Green did you get? Just the concentrate, or the automotive strength? You can even get lemon scented! :D

Next question: Pine Sol. For us Antipodean types, what's a generic description?
