Speaking of glue, I've used the liquid glue based on the experience of others who've posted here and my experience has been the colors do run when applied.

I would brush it on and the color is marred.

Anybody else?

i've had the same experience with liquid glue. Spray adhesive can be messy. I lay out the pieces on the styrene first so that there is little waste. lay the styrene on a piece of newspaper and spray it. you then have several hours to carefully lay the paper pictures onto the styrene. It doesn't seem to have and bleed thru

Hmmm?? I've never had a problem with ink running when applying liquid cement. I use Testors brand. I print my wallpapers using a HP printer with inkjet cartridges. I do however wait a few days to let the ink dry. I guess its whatever works best in your situation. Its cool there are lots of different ideas out there.

Hey terry, can you post some of your work??

Well you've found me out after all of my potificating I really don't have much to show. A couple of houses nearing completion and I will get that church done. I'ts unlikely my work on that will come anywhere close to the pictures above. Most of my work has been on model railroads, so I know a bit about scenery and construction. I am mostly in awe of the kind of detail people are craming into things smaller than my thumbnail

attached is a link to a paper building site. they all download as PDF files so I can't figure out how to capture pieces of them, however, I've downloaded the "Investigators Office and printed it and it seems to be close to the right size. Take a look and tell me what you think

I use Testors as well and have tried another brand, but the name escapes me. I've also waited and the ink still runs. The only factor to consider is "dabbing" vs "brusihng"?

Another method in building paper houses is to print and cut out then glue them unto black heavt stock construction paper. Glue the walls and roof on. Seems to work ok.

Maybe its me, but when using plastic I find often the pieces do not match. I will hold them together when filiing or use one as a template to out line its mate to cut out but a lot of times the pieces do not match.

Still experimenting with both methods.

The church looks nice, but is it possible to post a url to the uncompressed image file? It looks kinda cramped in the forum... =) Thanks!
