The fish is hooked. My buddy seems pretty gung-ho to paint up an army. Sent him a few links of some after action reports. Also pointed him to the 'show us your stuff' and 'show us your game' threads. Hell, I even thru in the FOW web site just in case. Made it pretty clear that if we do use FOW we will be pushing around 1/285. I like the idea of 4x as much stuff for the same price as FOW minis. Ordering a set on mein panzer rules after I finish with this. I'll keep everyone posted on how this whole experiment works out. You all may be witness to the birth/re-birth of microarmor in Utah. Hope i didn't just jinx myself.

Pete, you will have to give me the adress of your shop. My step-grandma lives in PHX, so I find myself in the area from time to time. K

One more thing, does mein panzer core rules include rules for Inf?

Yes, MP has infantry rules. I like it as well as panzer-war, but as it has been said, panzer war has lots of charts and can be slow going. Pete doesn't have a shop, he's just an enthusiastic player and a great modeler.

The 1:1 rules I use are Panzer from http://www.strikenet-games.com/ . I really like them. You get full color cards for all the units. It, like mein panzer, also uses two half squads.

Just my two cents

Hi Kennerator

Thunder is correct. I don't actually own the shop. The name of the store is Imperial Outpost Games and Darren Johnson is the owner. The store is located on Thunderbird Road just east of 51st Avenue in the shopping plaza. The store is behind the Arby's.
Darren, the owner is gracious enough to let me use his place from time to time to run micro armor games. The store caters more to the GW and role players but historicals are also welcome as well. If you are coming into the Phoenix area sometime and would like to meet me you can contact me directly at pmskaar@juno.com. Thunder has taken some really nice pictures of a couple of the games that I hosted at Outpost and they are up on his website. Thanks.

Pete - Binpicker, Out!
