Anyone got any pictures of the missing items yet? In theory people could have ordered these and received them by now?

Photos for W96 and W97 are in the online catalog now.
Sorry, but I can't help with the others; the only new items I ordered are GWH5. They arrived yesterday.

Yes thank you for the info.
ghq you did the same mistake with pkp with tripod than pkm with tripod...
ammo feeding is on the right, not on the left on PKM machine gun , the feeding is the opposite of the US M60A1 MG....

Photo is up for the mark 3 recovery vehicle, and it does include the anchor.
Now the question becomes- how many of those devices were actually made...?

I would say "if it was actually used". In any case there were 1 or 2 PZIII recovery for Sturmgeschutz unit.

Yes, that's very true also- I too have doubts it was used to any extent- if at all.
That makes the recovery vehicle an awfully expensive asset, and while I'll buy one, it won't recur on my purchase list at that price.

That is an amazing model - but as you say very expensive. I will be getting one just for the model if nothing else.

Maybe GHQ will consider having an alternate pack at some stage in the future which just has the vehicle (and a few more of them)

But,,, thanks for another amazing model in this scale.

What an odd vehicle. I was expecting something like the "prime mover" but I have never seen anything like that trailer. I've spent a bit of time Googling images but I still haven't found anything similar. I am sure GHQ have modelled it on some real world example - can anyone point me at a photo of the real thing?

The diagram may be neasleadig. The anchor is not connected to Bergepanzer. It acta as a fixed point for double pulleys throu which run the recovery cable towed attached to the tank. This allow to multiply the pulling power of the Bergepamthger

John:
If you do a search on "panzerbergeanker", you will find about all I did- there is a blog page on German arv's that should turn up; at least it's in english, but the photos and diagram are mostly the same as the Czech site.
As Tammy said, the thing is essentially a huge towed "ground stake" and rigging block used in much the same way as ships rigging to lift a yardarm; the pz iii supplies the pull, if that makes sense?
This thing was a late war expedient, and the article there gives the impression it actually saw some production and use.
Did it? I don't know, but have largely lost interest due to the dates involved...

Thanks, this is perfect. The diagram is actually very clear, to me; it's like one of those block-and-tackle diagrams in early physics classes - Velocity Ratios and Mechanical Advantage, that stuff. This is effectively doubling the pulling power of the Bergpanzer - though I must say I am inclined to agree with others who doubt this ever saw action. It looks like some designer's mad idea which would be very difficult in practice. Emplacing the anchor would be fun - that has to be able to resist the full tractive force of the Bergepanzer.
