Sorry to hear about the stomach bug but it sounds like you had a great time otherwise so that is good. We will be going to Disney LA in January of next year.

Those guys from Camastan are INcredABLE, just cannot be beat with that scoring and accounting validation system. Nice work, guess their military computer/network hackers are better than anyone else!!!?

Today the exercises wrapped up with the exciting grand finale! All squadrons participated in the grand aerial battle, conducting strike missions against ground targets with lie ordnance, while fighter escorts clashed in head-to-head fighter combat. Both teams performed well, but in the end the Red Team was victorious y only a handful of points!

Tonight, all of the pilots and crews are mingling and drinking at the All Service Military Ball, and then tomorrow they will enjoy a barbecue on the beach, as well as some volleyball in jeans, and then the squadrons will bid farewell until next year's fighter rodeo!

Balzac would like to thank the ROD for opening up Air Rodeo 16 to outside Nations. It has been an excellent opportunity for different Forces to come together and exchange knowledge.

The BSDF would like to commit to attend Rodeo 17 next March.
Great job.

Maybe this is the start of a new genre of war gaming. When the hardware stays at home and with the aid of this interweb thingy dice are rolled at a distance or a sim is used.

My kid seems to have had this worked out ten years ago but without the need to take out a second mortgage on pewter.

I would really much prefer to push some lead in person, but it seems like it's getting harder and harder to do these days. I think the ROD will be holding a fire support exercise over the summer, and then an international maneuver conference in the fall. Perhaps a naval exercise is in order too!

I wonder how I can work an actual wargame into this? There are some PBEM game systems out there that seem pretty good, though I've ever actually wargamed with them. I think I have anew project!

What a great host. I still have a few questions.... like, uhaaa, do you need a key to start the F-35. My ground crewman has always done it, but I do not see a key hole.
Redleg, thank you for running this competition.

Bump. To show the Gripens.
