OMG, Hoth. MGS is a WPOS. Too-heavy, limited utility. The CLAIMED use is infantry support, aka bunker-busting, but there are more efficient, better weapons for that. Anti-tank? Laughable. Long nose makes hull down ineffectuve. You might not want to shoot sideways for fear it would roll over. Maybe over the back deck? Running away? Take the gun, mount it on M551 or M41, or even a Bradley.
As for Dragoon, cut and paste all the complaints about the M3 Lee. Too high, gun at rear (again, long nose means no hull down position) not effective enough to be worth the height. Both porpoising cross-country, making occupants seasick, disorienting them... I.N.E.F.F.E.C.T.I.V.E.
Anyway, do what you want. The Army did.

Interesting thought.
France for example has 406 LeClerc MBTs, 184 of those are in storage, thus having 222 deployed. I probably have more than they have deployed currently, I bought about 110 from a guy 10 years ago. France has 247 AMX-10 RC, which is more than I have. France has 625 VBCI, much more than I have.
.
The US Army has more Abrams than I do, much more than I do.

Nice looking wheeled vehicles Chris! There certainly is a lot of variation in that category of vehicle!
I got a better picture of the Strykers in natural light. I'm pretty happy with the NATO green for these too. I was worried that it would be too bright without the brown and black camo on top of it, but it looks better once it's dried. I also got a coat of NATO green on the dismounts.
Next I'll paint the tires and give some detail to the boys.

Redleg, what color primer are you using? I have been using white and I think that is contributing to my problem. I use Model Master's Nato Green on my Russian camo over dark Yellow base and it seems to not wash out in sunlight. I am going to get the model Tamiya Nato Green today, I think.
Been working on my stripping process. It seems like I can do 8 hours soak in simply Green and I can use a medium tooth brush and get it all off. I then soak for about an hour more or so and I can go in and get some of the harder stuff. I did find that it was harder to get some of the rust color off the treads but it was extra thick. So no worries there because I will be painting it that same color again.
Fingers crossed I like the color you are using.

I used to just skip the MGs on all of my vehicles, but now I'm making a determined effort to include them. Unfortunately I often glue my fingers to the vehicle as well, but if I keep at it long enough I get them all attached. I just paint over any skin I leave on the vehicle! I have already decided that all of my vehicles without MGs will just have to stay that way though - I'm not going back to fix them.
Hoth, i don't use a primer when I paint my micro armor. I know I'm supposed to, but my ADHD starts to flare up when I get them out of the pack and I want to play with them so I just skip that step. I should probably try it.
