I can only imagine how much fun it was to work on. Something about the excitement as your project comes into focus and you achieve the results that you have. Amazing work.
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

That is an amazing unit, Paul! To say that it inspires is the understatement of the century!

Thanks for your explanations, this is very creative. Modern tools are really pushing the limits of the hobby.
And your tanks look awesome too, thanks for sharing. :)

Excellent work on those T-34s, Paul. I am in the process of finishing up my last company for my T-34 battalion along with the 2nd T-70 company to complete that battalion. I love the crewmen on yours.

Paul - A well executed project. Beautifully done vehicles and the stand-out bit is the tank commanders. Excellent.

Guys, you honor me.

As Pete said, for the longest time, I had hoped that GHQ would crew their vehicles. I tried early on putting crew on BT-7s, and M10s by reposing crew figures. They were flimsy and I just could not get them to how I wanted.

Now with 3d printing and the ability to rescale stl files to fit our tanks, has really made things a blast. All the detail parts on the PZ 38's were 3d printed. All the TC's for the T-34's were also printed. The real beauty was that originally there were no TC's with binoculars and they were only four poses. I was able to get three more poses by cutting and slicing the files and then putting them together electronically. This was really fun!!! It's like having a Verlinden catalog for micro armor.

Nice kit bash and I love the concept of using the 3D printer for stowage, riders, crews etc. I’d always hoped GHQ would do a storage pack, but it’s probably just simpler to use a printer at this point. Your painting is really great on these as well - nice work!

It would be phenomenal if GHQ did these upgrade parts. Pewter would make the process much easier to work with ... Ahhh to dream. But in the meantime, I will do what I can.

Along those lines, here are some WIPs of some opponents for the T-34s. Still in primer stage. My apologies for the pics being slightly out of focus.

World permitting, I should get paint on them this week. I'm going to try to airbrush some camo on them. We will see ... fingers crossed.
